Your Holiday

Guests are welcome for both mini-breaks and longer holidays. A 1 night stay typically includes approximately 2 hours of cruising, while longer holidays allow for more cruising and a wider range of destinations (weather permitting of course!).

All holidays are offered on a bed and breakfast basis. Full English breakfast, with a range of options to suit all tastes, is served to your cabin by the crew. All cruises are designed to allow guests the best combination of canal living and local attractions, and all destinations offer guests dining options for other meals.

Local Areas

Cruises are typically in the vicinity of Lichfield, with its medieval cathedral and cultural heritage as well as many shops, cafes and restaurants. Stops are made at local pubs/restaurants and places of interest. This includes the picturesque canal junction at Fradley, with canalside cafe and an award-winning nature reserve, and the lovely historic town of Alrewas. Great Haywood is another popular port of call, sitting at the gateway of the renowned Shugborough Hall Estate which offers a host of attractions and special events to appeal to all. Cannock Chase is a nationally recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is close at hand - guests can enjoy its landscape and wildlife on foot or by bicycle. We will also be happy to discuss alternative holiday options - for example, cruises close to the Peak District National Park. Guided walks can also be arranged alongside your cruising holiday if desired.
